I can’t actually remember when I first heard about Armand, but it was quite early in my Internet Marketing career.

The first product I purchased was Audiogenerator, something I still use today, and members of my team who have websites created by me have their audios hosted at audiogenerator. It made streaming audio possible at a time when this wasn’t normal! Some of you reading this have benefitted from this great software product.

When I heard Armand was coming to Sydney in late 2007 at Mal Emery’s Masters of Cash Flow, I had to go and hear this man in person. His presentation was more than god, and I left the event $3,000 lighter in the wallet. On the way home I wondered what had gotten into me!

Internet Marketing Explained

Well, Internet Marketing Explained (IME) is the most extraordinary and comprehensive course I have completed. I spent many hours listening to audios and applying the knowledge I learned at this seminar. Those of you who have purchased or used my training material have Armand to thank for much of it! He taught me about blogs, wordpress, video, using audio on web pages, and a host of things I can’t even remember!

As for this weekend passed, I am very excited and see new horizons opening for me. I will share some of these with you as well. The weekend went very fast and I took lots of notes, but here is a brief summary before I forget the detail!

The Weekend In Summary

Friday we started with the concept that you should build your own list. That is why I always suggest you capture your own leads on your own web page. We talked about defining your business as a first step to success. Here are the questions to make up the picture you are painting.

• What Do You Do?
• What Can You Do Better Than Everyone Else?
• How Do You DO This Differently?
• Your Unique Position factor
• Why should Someone else care?
• What would you make me buy from you?
• Why Is this Important?

Armand suggested the biggest mistake people made was not planning to succeed!

He talked about good customer service, keeping in touch with customers, having a help desk (something I will be implementing soon)Then we talked about Marketing and Psychology and the new way to look at the sales process. This is people react emotionally to an ad, then they decide to buy, and then you give them information to justify their decision. This is different from the old method of showing it first, then getting a reaction and asking for the order.

We spent some time on the Video Sales letter, and I will be preparing some detailed training on this to be included with my new products, the MLM Customer Acquisition System and Lead Generation Domination. There is simply too much information to include here.

Saturday we talked about building a business from scratch, and expanding an existing business. These are the steps.

1. Find A Market (not a product!)
2. Check out the Competition
3. Work Out Their Biggest Problem
4. Do a test campaign with an ad asking what is their biggest problem and collect responses.
5. Evaluate your topic after receiving 200 responses.
6. Create your product name and get a domain name to match. Include the main keyword phrase in the domain name if possible.
7. Create a product by interviewing an expert on the subject on audio or video.
8. Get a transcript and turn it into an Ebook
9. Create a video salesletter
10. Build Your thank you page
11. Advertise your sales page

For existing business, Armand suggests making sure everything has the same look and feel (branding).

Use a separate website for each product. The process is ad to landing page to sales page to upsell to downsell.

Armand suggests everyone creates their own regular newsletter and hosts it on a separate web site. Build a list to the newsletter and then sell your products through ads placed there. This helps you build a bigger list.

He talked about email copywriting in detail and gave lots of tips.

Sunday (today) Armand talked about Traffic Generation

• Article Marketing
• Placement targeting using Placement Locator which lowers ppc costs dramatically, and how to set up campaigns on google, bing and Facebook. Armand is not a big fan of Facebook and says you have to be careful or it can get very expensive!
• Building A Google Adwords Search Campaign
• Building a Video Landing Page

   

Armand then presented his AM2.0 program, a monthly coaching program, with top marketers.

We learnt about Google’s rules for advertisers and how not to have your account shut down!

The final section was on a way to use image ads to get amazing cheap clicks from google.

Last, but not least, Armand answered everyone’s questions.
