I consider myself pretty sharp. After all, I excelled in my corporate career, tackling and completing projects that left many others in awe. Even back in South Africa, I took a project that had lost its technician half way through, learnt everything about it, and been a major force in its on time completion.

There were many other projects over the years, and yet, when I started working for myself, I fell into the same old trap many entrepreneurs face. Basically, there are so many things I am good at, I tend to take more and more things on. The end result is that very little ever gets to completion, and I am a pretty determined, focused person. I am sure many of you know what I am talking about.

Chasing Silver Bullets

This gets worse. As we move forward with simply too many exciting projects under way, we find that none of them is supplying the income we are looking for. The obvious reaction is to think something is missing in our marketing, and start chasing the latest fads that will solve the problem. I have so many programs and training systems, and some of them I haven’t even opened! Does that sound familiar?

Enter Rich Shefren

Some of you will know Rich. A few years ago he wrote an internet marketing manifesto. It caused quite a storm. As a result he signed up many top internet marketers to a coaching program I think was around $15,000. Definitely out of my league at the time. By coaching these superstars, their collective incomes grew to monsterous proportions. The point here is that this guy ahs the runs on the board, and is worth listening to!

Well, recently, Rich posted a free webinar to get people to purchase his coaching in a box package for a mere $3,000. To me this is the sausage without the sizzle. The personal program he ran before meant he really worked with his students to transform their businesses. I have joined many of these types of programs, and they aren’t the same as one on one time.

A Lesson From Rich

Something struck me in his presentation. Well two things, actually! First, he talked about juggling multiple projects. Well, that one hit home. Basically what most of us do is to have several projects under way at once. We may spend a week on project 1, then a week on project two, then a week on project 3, then go back to project one again.

Let’s say each of these takes 8 weeks to complete, and you make no money until completion. Doing it this way, will take you 24 weeks or 6 months before you make a dime! This can be very discouraging, and chances are most people won’t even get the first one done at all. The end result, we feel disempowered, helpless, and a failure. Our self esteem suffers, and it takes courage to get back up again. This is another common feeling by budding network and internet marketers.

Now what if we did it a different way. Put 8 weeks into project one and get it finished. Now you can work on the other projects while earning money! I know it sounds really simple, but it makes perfect sense. One project at a time.

Why We Don’t Do This!

Again, most of us on the internet have bills to pay. If you are still working you are possibly time poor, so it is difficult to get projects completed. There is pressure to make enough to cover expenses. Many good ideas simply don’t happen. The truth is that it involves risk taking to create major new products out there. Just copying everyone else isn’t enough.

My 2011 Commitment

I have a continuous stream of distractions in my life. A four year old daughter, family, a couple of successful network marketing business and associated support of a team, etc. I do this on my own right now with the exception of a web genius I have on tap. My major project for 2011 is the MLM Profit Booster. This program is designed to guide you step by step into how to increase your income from any Network Marketing business by learning how to market those products on the internet and make a profit. It is what has sustained me for the last 5 years.

Just yesterday, I finished the second module where I show and tell the entire process of creating a sales system, including many of the tricks and tips I have learned along the way. Just this one module includes over 5 hours of videos.

I Am Not Stopping

Sure there is pressure to put more into my MLM businesses, and I will, but for now I am focused on my project. As soon as the next module, on how to get some traffic to the sales system, is completed, I will be launching it. I believe it will create quite a stir and those who have used my systems are raving about them. You can see a few of them talking about me on the sidebar.

I trust you have learnt something from this rant. The other point Rich made is to do what you are good at, and outsource everything else. I am developing an affiliate module for the project. As soon as it is working how I wish, I will be looking for an affiliate manager.

To keep up to date with my progress and any outsourcing that many come as a result, please remember to subscribe and get a copy of “Life Mastery – how to achieve it” Lives have been transformed by reading this book, and you will see how I turn complex issues into simple steps.

Yes 2011 is exciting, and now you know why you haven’t heard from me in a little while!

I know some of you have quit building your MLM business, or slowed to a trickle. When you consider the benefits of our industry, I have no idea why anyone would do that, but it happens.

If you slowed down because you don’t think the product works, there is not much hope for you. You are doomed to a life of mediocrity! If it is because you didn’t make enough money, you are lacking skills or self belief. These can be fixed!

I have been through the highs and lows of the last 18 months with a new company. It has been a tough road. Along the
way I keeps sharing the main product with many people. Some of them have their youth and vitality back. I do! After 10 years n MLM, I was getting a little stale. I was caught up in politics and diminishing organisations as a result. Since
I joined this company, something has changed..

Maybe it is a result of the products. I take many of them regularly. I am exercising harder that ever before with no
injuries. My brain fog is clearing. Like it or not, I am confident I offer outstanding products which produce real results. You should believe in your products as much as I do.

Most of the people I introduced to the product dropped out for one reason or another. Pity, they either didn’t really want to change, or just don’t have enough vision to see the transformation this business and industry can bring in their own life! You think that is a bit harsh?

If you have read this far, take a quick brain check. How are you reacting to this? Is your brain trying to think up reasons you didn’t reach your goals? Are you thinking how you were misled you or didn’t do enough for you? Are you thinking about all the people who showed promise, but did very little? Be aware of your thoughts. If you want to make the change to a life of freedom and financial and health abundance, you will be focused on what do I need to learn and what needs to change in me for me to get there!

My new business is taking off. Through constant sorting, I now have a small core group of enthusiastic, successful people who are determined not to get in the way of their success. The reward is a positive enthusiastic view on life. It is thinking and feeling young again. It is applying youthful enthusiasm to life.

Well, over to you. With our new product, why not give it another shot. I promise to be honest with you, I can’t
build your business for you, but I can supply coaching from the sidelines.

Got to go feed the little one now. A new era is beginning. Everyone who takes part will grow personally, and some will end up with more cash than they can spend as a result.

Enjoy your day. As long as you believe in your heart that your products will benefit people much more that the amount it costs to get them, you will do well. The only other way to fail is to lose your enthusiasm or worse still, quit.

We are in a wonderful indsutry where we succeed by helping others. There is no other way!

Cheers,
John
