Hey, I am not talking about the death of Internet marketing here. This article is about marrying the principles of metaphysics with the skill of marketing on line.

First Some Background

It is hard to believe it was over 25 years ago that I was introduced to the concept of the death urge. It was during a “New Age” weekend where I experienced energies I had been previously unaware of. I credit the death urge concept to Leonard Orr, a metaphysical teacher from San Francisco known in our circles as the father of “Rebirthing”. This was all so long before the internet!

We live in a finite world. They say there are only two guarantees in life, death and taxes. I know Mohammad and a couple of other people are supposed not to have died, but even Jesus died, according to the Bible and other writings. You may be an immortalist, but there is a distinct possibility you will get old and eventually leave the planet for good.

How The Death Urge Works

When we are young, death is something that doesn’t concern us much. After all unless we take a lot of drugs, or do crazy things, we are statistically not likely to die. With no responsibilities, or family, we are often prepared to take risks. This can be great for us, and if things don’t turn out, we bounce back and go again.

As we spend more time on the planet, we tend to collect things. Family, Kids, Career position, reputation, cars, houses, etc. Now if something goes wrong, we have a lot to lose. This colours our decisions. We take fewer risks, and as a consequence have less success. Eventually every time we start something new, we think about all the things that can go wrong.

A Constructed World

I am here to tell you that if you feel like this, it’s not your fault. It is a construct of the marketing, advertising and insurance industries to lock you into a thinking of scarcity. There simply isn’t enough to go around, so you have to act now or miss out forever. Sound familiar?

The Entrepreneurial Spirit

You probably know that entrepreneurs are people who keep trying things until they get a winner. This is how people become successful. They keep innovating, learn from their mistakes and one day they just might hit on something amazing.

Often it is something insignificant like Velcro, liquid paper, the safety razor, or a biro, some of the most successful inventions the world has seen. Most of these are technologic advances on existing ideas. If their inventors believed every invention was the end, we simply would never had been able to experience them.

The Economics Of Death Urge

When I studied Economics in University, I was taught that the world has a scarcity of everything. Commerce is based on supply and demand. If there is not enough to go around, the price increases. This is very true in marketing but it equates in a different way. The more value assigned to a product or service, the more people will pay for it. That means setting it up so that if you miss out you will lose big time and if you participate, you will be showered in everything you ever dreamed of. Value changes all the time and the early innovators certainly clean up.

Magic Bullets

You know I am not a great believer in this one. For the most part, the same direct selling methods used in the 1920s by such greats as Ted Nicholas still work. The delivery methods have changed, but the process hasn’t. This means that next time you hear of the newest fad, Social Network, or viral marketing scheme, remember that tried and true techniques are the best way to travel. They may be less effective than before, but they are still effective.

What To Do Now

If you are in Network or Internet Marketing, understand that your desire to move on may be due to death urge. You may be thinking this is going to end soon. That will kill your business. Unless the operation closes down, I would be inclined to think “how can I grow my business” rather than starting again.

All great businesses go through many cycles. The winners stick with what they love, and consistently shout its praises. Others are inspired and follow along or purchase and recommend your products. Letting go of those thoughts that it has to end will take you a long way towards outstanding success in life and on line.

Remember this when death urge kicks in and you feel you have to make changes now or it will be too late. The only time it is too late is when you are in a pine box, and at that stage it really doesn’t matter!

Let’s live life 110%, stay optimistic, and work towards building our dreams. It is a life of passion, fun and success.

Apply this information and watch your business soar!

We all know that optimizing your blog content helps get you found on google. Getting that page one ranking is a combination of authority, content and back links. Whichever way you look at it, the quality of content on your blog is very important with regard to ranking on the search engines.

For quite some time I have been using the free tool, http://articlejockey.com to create search engine friendly articles. While this is good, it doesn’t really cover all the bases. It mainly looks at keyword density and suggests synonyms.

SEO Kahuna Breaks Through

Recently I started down the road to local search marketing using Google maps. This is an exciting new area for me, and so far those companies I have approached had no idea why they were not being found.

The reason in most cases is that they simply don’t have all of their internet activities co-ordinated, and their websites simply are not optimised for their main keywords.

The Right Search Terms

This is a subject for another post, but like it or not, keyword selection is critical to success. Once you select a set of keywords you want to be found for, then it is time to get to work and let Google know. The way to achieve this is to optimise your posts, and then syndicate them through article marketing.

I have seen companies rank for some really nice looking terms no one searches for, while missing out on others with high search numbers. Using the google keyword tool, you can type in a website and see what keywords they are ranking for. Once I know this, I can get to work doing an SEO makeover on their blog.

What To Do

SEO requires a number of factors. You want your keyword in the h1 header, h2 and h3 header, alternate text for an image, a keyword phrase in bold, have it in the first and last sentence, have the required density, and a few other things. It really is a lot to remember!

Great New Software Solves The Problem

Recently I have studied local search marketing. This has led me to revisit my SEO training and get up to speed with the latest developments. One of the great tools I discovered was a plug in that tells you how your blog posts are optimised for SEO. This takes the guesswork out of optimizing posts, giving you the best chance of success.

I have recorded a video demonstrating how this works. It is brilliant. You write your article, post it on the blog and then use SEO Kahuna to optimize it. You can get a cheap license for 3 blogs, or an unlimited one to install on all your client’s blogs. Now you can train your outsourcers to optimize articles, or even your clients!

Watch The Video Below

Optimizing Is Very Important

Believe me, if you were to optimize every bit of content and target it to specific keywords, you would get heaps more traffic. I suggest you use your main keywords as categories, and then long tail keywords as the title for articles. That way each of your articles adds to the credibility of the category. Include a link to the category in each article, and you are starting to unleash a powerful strategy for SEO.

I trust you enjoyed this. If you would like to know more, click here.

You may also know that a little over a year ago, I took the plunge and joined the Tribe Syndication Association (TSA) because a friend said this was a great way to get noticed!

The Results Are In

OK now I have not used other methods of building traffic yet, so you can say that the figures are a direct result of my involvement in TSA. What I do each week, is comment on 7-15 blogs and syndicate the content. In fact if your post was syndicated by everyone in the program you would reach around 500,000 people! That is ½ million who know about you and if your headline is good enough, may read your material!

You will see that my Alexa rank is about to break the 1 million mark. Go to Alexa.com and take a look at your site and you might be surprised how good it is to get near the million. I am rising with a bullet on this one.

My blog has a google PR of 3. I can tell you that it takes a lot of love to get past 2 in PR. Now others love it when they get backlinks from me! Their comments have more juice because of the high PR. Google gives you extra brownie points when indexing your site.

Somehow I have accumulated 8,484 backlinks! I used some other strategies on another blog which was supposed to provide abundant backlinks, but after 3 years I have only about half this amount. Backlinks are an important part of SEO.

What Do You Think?

You can see from the above that my site is rocking thanks to TSA. I admit that I have been a bit unfocused with the keywords I wish to target, so my next task is to work out exactly what I want to appear on page 1 in the search engines and start optimizing copy. I did this on other blogs and have some very high rankings in competitive niches as a result. Of course, if you type in john Gaydon, you will see my sites all over the search engines!

If you are in TSA, this will hearten you. Now you know that it is worth the effort, even if it takes a while for your blog to take off. If you aren’t and you want to get noticed, better join! In a year you could be seeing these results or better, especially if you laser focus your site on the niche you wish to rank for.

The above chart shows the number of visitors (red) and number of pages viewed (blue) for the last 12 months. Clearly this is trending upwards. The blip around August was when I didn’t complete my quota of syndications and comments for a week and I was heavily penalised by being left out of the program for three weeks. If anything, this really shows the power of TSA.

Where To From Here

It is pretty obvious if you want to get noticed on line, make new friends, and learn a lot about how to do all this, TSA is a great place to be. There is a small set up fee, but apart from that the whole thing is free! Dave, Dawn and Kim put incredible effort into the whole system because they know that their benefits are outstanding. Let’s face it, all of us are happy to make them famous and “pay it forward” so to speak. It really is a win/win situation.

So, let go of all those blog systems that encourage you to buy a bunch of products or are there to line the creators pockets with wads of cash and join the TSA community. You will be amazed how much you will learn and who you will meet. It may even be your next business partner, or who knows a life partner if you are looking for one!

TSA rocks.

You have no doubt heard of the law of reciprocity. This is one of the psychological tools used by marketers to get their potential customers committed. Basically, if I provide something to you for free that is valuable, you will feel obliged to do something in return.

So What Has This To Do With The Title Of This Post?

Well, a year or so ago I joined a syndication tribe, the TSA (Tribe Syndication Association). Chances are if you are reading this post you may be a member. If you aren’t, why not join the TSA. Basically it is a group of people looking for more people to read their blogs. It can get very lonely out there at times! We are all there to support each other by reading and syndicating the content of each others’ blogs.

Why Would You Do This?

First it means that a few people read your posts, and your efforts aren’t completely wasted. Next, the more visitors to your site, the more comments you get, and the more the word is spread, the better the search engines favour you. Third, we get to make new friends who can help us in our efforts to get a message out, become business partners, or provide encouragement and inspiration to keep going towards our dreams. It is practical, and it works!

What About The Title Of The Post?

Here is my offer to you. I regularly monitor comments on my blog. These days I get quite a few thanks to TSA! If you leave a comment with a link to a legitimate blog, I will reciprocate and comment on one of your posts. Who knows, if I like it I may syndicate it to my 3,500 followers on Twitter, Linked In and Facebook. I will do this even if you aren’t in the TSA, although as a member, others will see your comments, and if they like them, will go over and take a look at your site! This is good for everyone.

Dave, Dawn and Kim, who operate the TSA, do so with a servant’s heart. They truly practice reciprocity only asking a small amount to make sure serious contenders join the group. They spend hours making sure contributors provide quality content and adhere to good business practices, and offer a range of free training that will help you take your blog to the top. Your posts submitted to the TSA system could reach over 553,000 people who follow the members! That is a lot of people seeing your content.

Pay It Forward.

It gets better. You join TSA and recommend it to others. TSA members comment on your posts and tell others. If you have something really great, it can go viral and all of a sudden your traffic explodes. I have blogs in very narrow niches with over 140 visitors per day. I can teach you how to do that. By participating in a mutual tribe such as TSA, you can rid yourself of loneliness and start getting quality traffic. Eventually that turns into business for you, and it is all for giving to others!

A motto of TSA is “Share The Love”. It works just like the movie, “Pay It Forward”. When we do kind acts for others, they pass it on and eventually it all comes back to us as abundant lifestyle.

What You Can Do?

You can start by commenting on this post. Leave your thoughts about reciprocity and paying it forward. I will reciprocate by leaving a comment on your blog. Join the TSA. This will connect you with over 100 like minded people who are all moving their blogs to the top of the search engines. You will also learn the skills you need for success from other members. I wish you the success I have had and even more. While my sales are a mere $150,000 a year using the internet, it is a start!

If you are up to date with the ramblings of top internet marketers, you will know that their business model has switched to providing free content with a paid coaching program. Jonathon Budd hinted at this with some of his programs, and Frank Kern has been using it for a while.

Armand Morin takes it to the extreme where he gives away 3 day training course and then focuses on income from coaching clients. In the internet marketing world, if you are not doing something for free, you are out of the game.

What About PPC?

When you look at Facebook, youtube and the life, they made their reputations on outstanding free services. One by one all of these have added advertising, but many of us have our ads rejected. It seems that what these giants are looking for is FREE content fuelled by paid advertising! The model to adopt now, is to conduct a free webinar and advertise it on Facebook, Google and the like. I even have a way to drive tons of 3c clicks to a web site using google, providing you send them to a page Google likes.

But Network Marketing Isn’t FREE?

Well, that’s true. Companies that do offer things for free are either of little value, or not paying enough to be worth joining. There is a lot of effort involved in getting one dedicated business builder. They say you get what you pay for, and in most instances this is true of Network Marketing.

My point here is that if it does take time and effort to convince someone to join your team, is it better to join them on a pack that pays $500 in commission, or one that pays $20? The answer is obvious, unless you really don’t believe the products you offer have real value!

One of the other aspects being pushed by top marketers these days is exactly what I just said. It is easier to make money selling high value products because you get a better class of people who have money to invest in their new business, and you get a real income every time you recruit a new partner.

The Funded Proposal

If you decide to spend money marketing your business or products, then you need to find a way to retrieve the funds you are spending. I think Mike Dillard, author of Magnetic Sponsoring, was one of the first to apply this to Network Marketing. Jonathon Budd, Daegan Smith, and others have taken this up now, and there is a business model of selling a product cheaply to pay for lead generation. Jonathon Budd was selling a $7 audio on lead generation. I purchased it and helped him pay for his advertising! It got me on his list too, and yes, I have purchased a program from him since then.

What About The Free Line?

In 2011, it is time to move forward. Not only do we need to create tremendous value before someone will join a mailing list, but it needs to be FREE! When I say free, I mean something that is of use in itself, not just a report telling them why your products are the best.

This is where my latest “product” comes in. I call it the “Four Food Devils” and it talks about four common foods that can steal your health and vitality. So how do I market this?

Well, first, I am not going to tell anyone what the four foods are, unless they download the 20 page report. If you are curious, you can get a copy at http://pems.com.au/fourfooddevils.php You will get to see how I did it too!

So, the marketing becomes a series of ads, posts, comments, articles, etc that talk about how some foods can rob you of your health and vitality. To find out more you have to go to http://pems.com.au/fourfooddevils.php and get a FREE copy.

Does This Work?

Well, it depends. You have to know your audience. What are their interests, and what might awaken curiosity. In the Natural Health area, I think many people will want to know why things may not be working due to common foods just about everyone eats. When you create your free report, you want it to be compelling too. I have only just started marketing this report, and already have over 50 subscribers.

Results

Once you have subscribers, you know who is interested in the area you are promoting. You can then make offers, and bundle products and offer them to this specific set of people. Make them exclusive to subscribers and you may get their friends on board as well. It has the potential to go viral, providing your offer, and marketing drive people crazy wanting to know what they are going to learn.

Want To Know More?

Well, I have put together my Profit Booster Training System where I share my insights on Internet and Network Marketing. I have heaps of great ideas on the site for subscribers, and I will be adding to it as we move forward. If you want to take a look at what I am up to, go to http://mlmprofitbooster.com

I trust this information has been thought provoking, and maybe helped you move forward with your business building efforts.

I have seen many posts and articles about the money being in the list! As an internet marketer with lists built over the last 6 years, I am well aware of this. Fortunately for me, when I send out a broadcast email, I usually get at least a few sales. This article will give you a few ideas why many if not most don’t get many sales, even though they have been busy building an email list.

Email Is Not Dead!

Let me start with this one. So many marketers are pushing Social Media and other things as the “new” way to get customers. There are rumors saying that email marketing is dead. It is simply not true. Granted it is no longer as easy as falling of a log, but all those marketers like Mike Filsaime, Ryan Deiss, Jeff Walker, Armand Morin, etc still send me broadcast emails! It may be harder to get people to opt in now, but it is still the best way to market anything on line.

Who Are You Targeting

This one is very important, and most people ignore it. If at some point you want to make sales, you had better make sure your contacts are interested in what you have to offer. Don’t make up ads that get the maximum number of subscriptions so your list looks good. If you are paying for ads, particularly with PPC, you only want those who are high quality prospects to go to your web site. This can save you a fortune in advertising dollars. On Facebook, Google, etc well written ads will only attract buyers, or those who seriously want to buy. The rest we don’t care about. Let the tyre kickers get on someone else’s email list. I only want responsive people. That is how I get 20% or higher open rates on emails.

A Separate System For Each Target Group.

OK, you know who is your ideal customer. You know who is going to buy products like yours and what they look for. Probably there is more than one group. I would tailor a landing page, sales page and autoresponder message series for each group and build a separate list. This way, I can send specific information relevant to a particular niche, plus general product information to a larger group. The more focused your sales activities are, the more likely you are to get customers.

What Are You Selling?

Really, this is the main point of this article. Many people do generic ads for say an Ebook on making money in the share market and then try to sell a video training series. If this group has no interest in making videos, they won’t respond! What’s more, a whole series educating them why video is essential to on line success will probably fall on deaf ears as well. They will simply not open the emails, because they have no interest, even if it could be of immense benefit.

What Does This Mean?

If I am advertising making money with shares, I had better make sure my information is educational, informative, and contains a few tricks most people don’t share about making money with shares. The subjects of the messages need to be all about challenges faced in this area, or ways to get better results. Then the headline or subject should entice recipients to at least read the first paragraph. Your first paragraph is there to hook people in and convince them if they don’t read the whole message, they will be missing out.

Relating Your Messages To Current Events

My best message so far was one on what Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley have in common. It caused a huge spike on my blog from a single email. Using a topical headline which is relevant to your message really helps get that curiosity factor going. Entertainment works. As far as possible entertain with your messages. You can make a mystery story, cartoon, analogy, joke, etc. Just keep the interest.

Some Tips On Measuring Open Rates.

Now I am going to reveal to you one of my success secrets. When I write an article such as this one, I will post it on my blog. Then I will create a generic version without buy links or a sales pitch and syndicate it to article directories. Next I send an email to list members who are interested in this area and tease them to go to the blog and read the entire post. I see the spike in page views on the blog and compare it to the size of the email list. It is always higher than the open rate my autoresponder program suggests. This gives you your true open rate. For instance I have a list of 2,000 and I get a spike of 400 over 2-3 days on my blog. That means 20% of people not only opened my email but took action. Finally I create a series of keyword rich back links to the post to increase search engine traffic to the blog. I do this using powerful software that does this from my computer

Conclusion

Let’s face it, this is what you are looking for. You create a post, email your list, and then enough of those people actually read your message and take the action you want them to. Every now and then you make an offer of something that they want. IF the offer is irresistible, they will buy it. Why? Because you built trust by offering relevant and useful information before you asked for their money. Trust is gained by keeping your lists targeted and full of people who are interested in the topic.

Yep. Finally the google slap has hit me in the face. After 6 years as a loyal advertiser, they took exception to a couple of landing pages, and summarily suspended me. No discussion, no redress, just bye bye!

Of course, I knew it would come one day. After all just about every name internet marketer has suffered from this. I guess I have arrived! There was a reason for it, however insane, and I would like to save your account – if you wish to keep it.

What I learned About Google.

Deadly Violation 1.

I did receive a warning. I put an ad for Shopping Genie offering discounts. While the claims were true, google saw it as a get rich quick scheme. A scheme of this type seems to be any mlm or internet marketing training course, any home business, or way of making money other than a legitimate “job”. Even a free report on how to make more money breaks the rules.

My second transgression was a small ad with almost no traffic pointing to the http://mlmprofitbooster.com website. You can have a look and see what horrible claims I make there! Anything remotely like this on a page you send someone on a google ad to gets you banned.

Deadly Violation 2.

One of my friends also sells health products from her site. This is where I made all my money from with google. Now I can’t advertise anything with them. It appears someone didn’t like her, or had ridiculous expectations of the products she purchased, in other words a nutter. This lady complained to the regulators, and I suspect to google who summarily cancelled my friend’s adwords account.

So the second heinous crime is to have anyone complain about one of your ads. It seems that google are sensitive to complaints and will wipe your account if they even get one!

Warning: Once you put an ad on your google adwords account it stays there forever, even if you delete it. That means, don’t even experiment with anything controversial if you wish to keep your account.

What To Do About It

Well, if you must spend money with google, don’t do anything that attracts attention, or has a strong sales message. I might add that 5 years ago my google costs were over $1,000 a month and now they have trickled down to $2-300, so adwords isn’t the force it used to be. Ads that used to pull in dozens of prospects, simply don’t work any more.

Other Advertising

What I am doing now is ramping up my backlink program to get better SEO. I am adding more articles and videos over the coming weeks. I am placing adverts on yahoo, bing, facebook, Ezines, Exactseek, and other alternate ppc systems. The downside of most of these is that you pay up front. The good side is that they are cheap and with ppc, you only pay for clicks.

What Else

I am taking a serious look at my data from google and working out which keywords attracted buyers. Then I will be targeting those keywords with articles, videos and syndication using my backlink and syndication software, plus putting articles on my blog. I am now getting serious, and wanting to dominate the search engines from the terms I choose, and then google will be largely irrelevant.

My Advice

By all means do your bit to get top rankings on google and other search engines. Then make sure the pages that get indexed have a call to action and actually start the process of generating sales. This is a big mistake many marketers make. For instance, every piece you put on the internet needs a call to action or resource box which tells you specifically the next step to take if you are interested in the information. If you want to learn more details on all of this, you can get them from my Profit Booster Training. Simply go to http://mlmprofitbooster.com and fill in the form. You get a free report that just might help.

Will You Be A Victim Of Google

I can’t tell. If you are an aggressive marketer, yes, you will get banned sooner or later. You may get caught in the crossfire of someone else’s dispute too. Don’t take the risk. Do something now. Again, http://mlmprofitbooster.com gives you step by step guidance in how to do it all the right way, saving you thousands of hours wondering why your tactics didn’t work. At the very least, by reading this article, you can avoid the whole mess, at least for a while!

OK, I know many of you are Internet or network marketers, or have something to sell, or a program to join. I d too!

Years ago, it was pretty easy to get interest. You simply put an ad on google, gave them a reason to opt in to your site and then sent out a couple of emails and got them to read your sales letter. People trusted most anyone who knew enough to put up a good web page.

Something Changed

As with every other industry, a few smart marketers moved in on the scene and started making magic bullet web sites, guaranteed to earn you a fortune. I tried a few of these, and personally they didn’t provide me with the promised millions. Even the exact landing pages provided by the gurus received almost no response for me. Bit by bit, our faith in marketers has been worn down, as we consume one solution after another, and the results simply don’t come.

Now I know that until recently, if you threw enough money at Google or Facebook, in advertising, you can get some business. Some people will answer just about anything, and there are always a few newbies out there. It is getting harder to get a response, but my main beef is that you can lose your shirt waiting for all that cash to flood in. If you are not making money you will give up sooner or later. For years I felt the purpose of media was to take all your profits in advertising and just keep you afloat. As I learned more, I was able to leverage these organisations and start to make a nice profit, which is what business is all about. For me, if I don’t make money within a few weeks, I usually pull the ads or change tactics.

How Would You Get To Me?

OK, back to the subject at hand. I get emails from all sorts of people offering a range of services, business opportunities, etc. Here is my reaction.

If you send me an email, and I have no idea who you are, I delete it! I no longer have time to sift through all this stuff.

If you call, I will take a look at what you have to offer. I am more likely to do this if you ask a little about me, and why I am so successful. Most people push their opportunity down my throat and use the same platitudes, like, “everyone I talked to jumped on this”, or “everyone in the world needs this”, or this is s new, when it is released, the whole world will want it”. I bet you have never heard any of these statements! They are red flags to me, even if they are true. I may look at it, but ma more likely to move on.

OK So What Works?

There are several ways you will get my interest.

Someone I know and trust recommends you. That is why affiliate marketing works so well. Your recommendation has a lot of weight. The downside of this is that if you suggest too much crap, you lose credibility.

I requested the information! Interesting. If I google looking for something and your site appears in the SEO listing or ads, I might take a look at it providing the headline and description catch my attention. It is not enough to place an ad or get your page ranked, it must grab attention and speak to the reader.

I meet you through a Social Network and develop a relationship. This takes time, but can work well, as I have the chance to get to know you before I purchase. Once I find out about your background, credentials, and the type of person you are, I may well purchase something off you or something you recommend.

If I see the program everywhere I look! One strategy is to get seen all over the place. If every time I look for help I see your advice, I will begin to think you are an expert.

I Think You Get The Idea

If you want to make money on line, it is no longer a simple matter of putting up and ad and sending people to a landing page. You need a systemized approach to convince people they will benefit from what you have to offer. In my experience, only 2 marketers I have studied with met the criteria. Mike Dillard’s Traffic Formula, which comes out of the vault every now and then was one. Armand Morin’s Internet Marketing Explained took it even further, and I learned heaps off him.

I have incorporated many of the ideas from these two, plus added some of my own insights and plucked useful bits from a number of other successful marketers to put my Profit Booster training together (I told you I have something to sell too). Take look around my articles, and take a look at the free stuff at http://salesprofitbooster.com/?p=502 and you can get an idea of some of the stuff I have on offer. I am going to constantly update and enhance this with material I have tested on my own products.

I trust you get a few clues from this article to get your profits up and increase traffic for whatever you are offering. It is wonderful to spend a few hours putting tog ether a new marketing system and have it produce month after month for years and years. This is the secret of internet marketing success. Set up a solid system that produces profits and rinse and repeat.

I know, there are quite a few people talking about getting high page rankings on Google. Of course, if your content is found and it catches attention, it could mean a whole lot of business for you. There are a bunch of tricks I use to get good SEO for my articles, but one surpasses all and is the easiest to do.

My Results

First, here are a few of the results I have from google. These have been attained with a relatively low level of activity.

Liquid Zeolite. Searches 5,400, 1,760,000 results, position 4

Herbal Fiberblend Searches 1,900 websites 49,500 Position 3

Learn The Tarot – Searches 6,600, websites 26,100 position 5

All of these are in highly competitive markets. I am making money off each of these niches using information contained in the Profit Booster Training where I go into detail on all aspects of making money on line. Full details and screenshots at the end of this article.

How I Did It.

Well, first, I created articles and put them on a blog or website. Some of these sites are static websites and others are wordpress blogs. It doesn’t really matter where your information is stored for this exercise. I did optimize each page for SEO.

Ok, after doing all this, I sat and waited and watched my rankings rise slowly. Then I came across Brad Callen and studied his material. It was clear that creating backlinks was the strategy I was missing. I spent 12 months looking at various ideas, schemes, etc. At one stage I paid $200 a month for someone in the Philippines to manually create back links for me.

The Secret Weapon.

I am well aware that link farms, and fully automated software to create links usually ends up getting your ISP banned, google account cancelled, or your website shut down, so I was very wary of anything. Eventually I came across something that works and works well. It is called Brute Force SEO, and a new version is about to hit the market. I have 5,513 links to my zeolitereview.org site from this software according to the google webmaster tools, and google is impressed. Your sites will suddenly get attention too, when you apply this software.

How It Works

The program requires a series of static accounts, which are used for all of your SEP runs. These include unique accounts at the various article directories, social networking sites, etc. You click a button and 89 of these are set up before your eyes! This is done from your computer and is as if you were typing the information at lightning speed. It looks like a human to you, and to google.

You then select the page you want to send traffic to, and the keyword you want ranked, and add in the RSS feed for your site.

Next we add an article or two which is optimized for the keyword. You can target up to 3 keywords and associated web pages.

Now we hit the go button, and for the next 4 or 5 hours EVO goes to work in the background, creating sites, opening browsers, distributing the article, creating social links, etc. You go to bed and wake up next morning with a long list of sites pointing to your page.

It Gets Better

Once your information is out there, it goes viral. Articles are taken from directories and feeds get syndicated. Your content can go crazy and in a few weeks you will have hundreds of links, some of them from high PR sites.

Rinse And Repeat

The second phase is to rerun the same task again every 4 days until you get your keywords ranked where you want them. This gives google a little breather so it doesn’t think you are cheating.

What Do You Think?

If you haven’t used this software, you are missing out on a big advantage for getting pages ranked. Get Brute Force EVO2 here or at least take a look at the detailed videos if you have any interest in getting your articles and pages ranked at the top of the search engines.

Naturally, my Profit Booster Training goes into depth on how to set up a marketing system that sells whatever you would like to from the start to advanced techniques.

Below is the raw data o back up the figures I quoted in this article.

Appendix 1 – My Results

I thought it best I demonstrated some of the results for my main keywords, so you know I am genuine. I have to admit, I haven’t done much work on my SEO lately, but the rankings are still there.

To understand these results these are the paramaters.

Keyword – the words entered in google.

Searches – the number of monthly worldwide searches for the keyword using the google keyword tool

Results – the number of websites in the google search index

Position – generic search position, This does not include ads.

I am sure you will agree that these results are impressive. I was taught to go for keywords with no more than 2,000 searches a month, and no more than 400,000 web sites.

In this day and age, video is everywhere. You can get a HD flip cam for a hundred bucks and start making your own productions. It’s easy. Some sit in front of their laptop and record on a webcam, others use Camtasia or Screen Cast and add pictures of the words they are speaking.

Yes, I have done all those, and quite frankly for the most part, they are boring. I know if you are really interested in the subject you will watch, but is one of these videos came on the tele, would you give it a second of your time?

The following video was one I made yesterday. True I had the benefit of a very talented partner, but we recorded the song, and put the footage together in a couple of hours. You may be horrified, or saddened by this, but I think you will agree it is not bad for a hastily put together piece. Incidentally, the song was written to get something out while this is still a hot topic.

A Fate Worse Than Death

My videos have evolved over the years, and I have learned lot. These days, I like to make them interesting, with the exception of training videos which are very much content driven. There are so many possibilities out there, anyone can do a great job of it. While I have gone into Video design, scripting, production and distribution in detail in the Profit Booster program, here are a few tips I learned along the way.

Video Equipment.

A video camera with an external microphone is a must. Most videos have poor sound quality simply because they rely on the on camera mike. Sony and Canon have a range of cameras from around $500. If you are serious about video – get one!

Editing Software. I use Sony Vegas Platinum. With this program you can do really professional productions with all the trimmings. Add stills pics, music, captions, annotations, and a wide range of special effects. Once you get the hang of it it is easy to use and you can load direct onto youtube. It takes care of all of the coding for you!

Screen Capture Software. I like Camtasia. It enables you to capture anything on your PC screen, edit it and produce high quality video in a wide range of formats. You can do a video on Sony Vegas and insert it into a camtasia video and vica versa, giving you even more options.

A Tripod. Yes, unless you are shooting the Blair Witch project or trying to scare people, a steady camera reduces distractions. Most cameras have remote control, so you can operate the camera while being the star!

Green Screen. I went visited a movie studio once and discovered that these days most action is shot in front of a green background. This is how they do the evening news and put all those amazing pictures behind the news reader. You can get one from Owens Originals, and Sony Vegas allows you to make green screen movies.

Lighting. I use a 3 point lighting system, from a local hardware store. They are called work lights and you get 500 watt halogen globes in them. I made up a diffuser from white cloth the soften the light and it works great. The whole set up costs a little over $100.

Making The Video

I thought I might add a few tips for making great videos here.

Work out what you want to say. Ship without a rudder goes nowhere. It is easy to waffle on camera. Decide what your message will be first.

Tell a story. If you can, make up, or adapt a story that makes your case. The moral or happy ending is the conclusion you want your viewers to reach.

Work Out The Scenes. Movies are not shot in sequence. The story is broken into small parts and then each is shot separately. Attention is paid to detail for each 15-30 second clip and then the editor puts it all together and creates magic. Put some time into visualising and creating scenes for your clip.

Consistency. If you are not doing all the scenes at the same time, make sure you have the same clothing, make up etc. Remember a wrist watch in Ben Hur nearly ruined the movie! Roman Soldiers simply didn’t wear them. There are people who watch movies looking for out of place items.

Make it interesting. Intrigue, sex, mystery all work as devices. Remember, as soon as you lose their attention, they miss your message forever. Promise a surprise at the end, throw in an unscheduled bonus tip, do something unpredictable and people will keep watching. We hate to miss out.

Does This Help?

OK, enough of the free stuff. I cover a lot of detail in the Profit Booster Training. This includes some secrets on how to get ranked highly in you tube and other video directories, a video optimizer where I demonstrate how I create, produce and distribute videos, and hundreds of hours training on how to sell products on line. I take you from scratch to hero. You can take what you want, or build an empire from the ground up. It is not expensive and you get me as your coach and mentor!

OK I will leave you with another clip I put together in an effort to save some special land around here. Please leave a comment, let me know your video tips, and what you have learned from this article.
